Research Interests
Renewable energy, natural gas engines, control and electrical systems, and gaseous emissions.
Bio
Cory received his B.S. in Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines and is expecting to receive his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University this year. Currently, Cory is working to test and design high performance cookstoves for the developing world. This work includes team management, computer programming, and measurement systems design and implementation. Prior to his work on cookstoves, Cory performed research on the operation of a Cummins GTA8.3SLB natural gas engine using poor quality natural gas fuels. In addition, he was involved in the design of precombustion chambers for lean burn two-stroke natural gas engines. Cory’s hobbies include fishing, cooking, woodworking, telescope making and running.
